AI Policy

Skull Rock Software LLC, maker of Mojave Paint, pledges to never use AI for:

• Any form of written communication, including all language on this site and all outbound communication by email or any other medium, including but not limited to posts and comments on Reddit, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, GitHub.
• Visual design of company brand assets, including the app icon, this website, and any advertising display ads.
• Visual design of the app itself, including layout, colors, typography, and iconography.
• Photography used in demo screenshots and videos. All photography is either shot by us, or used with permission by the photographer, or sourced from a royalty-free stock art website that has a strict "no AI" policy such as istockphoto.com

Exceptions to above:

• Boilerplate legalese
• Temporary exception for the older https://skullrocksoftware.com website, parts of which are AI slop. That site is scheduled for deprecation.
• Some of the tool windows still have AI-generated layout, and it shows. Eventually they'll all be fully human designed and I can remove this exception.
